Printed Textiles Design 

Graduating 2014 from the University of East London in Printed Textiles Design. I focused my final major project on a printed collection for the home, covering fabric for furnishing and wallpaper design.

 

The chosen theme for this collection was inspired by many childhood holidays to the sunny, wild south west coast of Britain. With sketchbooks full of sketches, and a loaded dissertation based on whether traditional printed techniques have a future; I decided to combine both tradition and digital methods and techniques of printing within my final major project.

 

A wallpaper book was created along with a collection of fabrics, half a metre each displaying a combination of screen printed techniques, hand embroidery and digital printing. I even got my hands on an old deck chair which I used to display a final length on.
